On May 9th, ten people from a variety of religious and philosophical backgrounds will set out on a five-day 500km journey from Toronto to Ottawa on their bikes, arriving in the nation’s capital on Mother’s Day (May 13th). To help save the lives of the thousands of women who die every day in pregnancy
and childbirth, and as a way of honouring their own mothers, these riders will unite around their common beliefs in equality, healthy living and social justice. All funds raised will go to benefit the maternal health projects
managed by the International Development and Relief Foundation.
Be a part of the Mother’s Day Bike Challenge and demonstrate the power of health, community and generous giving.
